The Author
Dr. Robert S. Hallett
Dr. Robert S. Hallett has been involved in the making and developing of disciples throughout the 60 years of his ministry. In 1985 he transitioned from a pastoral ministry to ministry as a Church Stewardship Consultant where he teaches on stewardship principles as the core ingredient of discipleship. He is currently President of TLC Ministries, which he founded in 1990. His three books glean these truths from his many years of discipleship ministry, and are proven to be a valuable resource for churches as they endeavor to “Develop Deeper Disciples for Jesus.” They are specifically for those church leaders who are tired of the surface-only discipleship of many Christians today.
Dr. Hallett is an award winning author who received his D.Min. degree from Liberty University, having also studied at Asbury Theological Seminary (M.Div.), Indiana Wesleyan University (B.A.), and Kingswood University (Ministerial Diploma). He and Carol, his wife of over 50 years, live in Hartford City, Indiana.
The Devotional Book
The Leader's Guide
This Leaders Guide is designed to turn the Discipleship in 40 Nutshells devotional book into core material for Bible Study groups, as well as sermon materials on discipleship for pastors. These studies take discipleship past just information to be learned and digs into the deeper meanings of discipleship as principles to be embraced.
The Seminary Course
Dr. Hallett is also an award winning author for his book entitled A Pastor’s Guide to Developing Disciples, Givers, & Stewards. It is the seminary course that most pastors should have taken, but never did because it was not available to them. This book will help to fill the gap in their ministerial training as relates to developing mature disciples.
This book is intended to help pastors understand the true nature of stewardship and how it affects every disciple of our Lord. It is also a resource to help guide pastors through the complex issues related to developing the disciples under their care and bring them to maturity in Christ. Its hands-on style is comprised of many relevant teachings on discipleship and stewardship from a Biblical perspective, understanding how the steward mindset (or lack thereof) affects every disciple, and addresses many stewardship and discipleship issues that perplex the minds of most pastors. It also identifies the primary barriers to the developing and maturity of disciples, and how to overcome them.
